Fair and square Stephen
Always found the Ir Times to be well balanced in its reportings, pity they wouldn't do justice about covering the meetings on their sports pages

Considering what it could have been and what usually appears in the papers, it is a fair and balanced article, looks at it from competitors, spectators organisers and families views and covers positives as well as negatives.

I'd agree with you both.
Compared to the usual rubbish in the gutter press it was entirely fair and reasonable. And like Nod says I wish they'd cover racing in the sports pages and give us all some good news and publicity

im a bit dissapointed, they reported on the tragedy, but never mentioned the auctual race. in my viev they they only seem to print the downside of racing

You are right Joe, but it's what we've come to expect from the papers, so this particular article was a more "positive" downside
