Following an MRI scan, Cameron Donald’s anticipated return at the Adelaide International Kells Road Races on July 18/19 has been put on hold after advice from his specialist. Cameron is currently at home in Melbourne convalescing, after sustaining minor injuries at this year’s Isle of Man TT in June, but will return to the UK at the end of July.

On his return, he will take in a private test session at Kirkistown before competing at Brands Hatch in the National 1000cc Superstock series, prior to the Ulster Grand Prix on August 15.

Cameron Donald

“I was really looking forward to returning at Kells with Relentless Suzuki and doing my best to take five wins from five starts. Kells has always been a happy hunting ground for me, but with my shoulder not yet 100% I’ll have to hold off until the end of the month.”

Philip Neill – Team Principal

“We are disappointed not to be able to honour our commitment to the Kells Club, but unfortunately Cameron has been advised not to ride for another few weeks and we must take advice from his specialist. I was personally looking forward to Kells, as the atmosphere is always superb and it’s a very professionally organised event. I’d like to wish Lester and Aileen every success and hopefully we can discuss a potential return next year.”
