Whenever you come so close to death twice, Iím just so thankful that somebody was looking over me and Iím blessing my lucky stars that Iím alive.

Whenever I came off, I had a really bad laceration to my liver and the medical team knew there was a problem with it. Thatís why they had to send me in the police helicopter because they needed two doctors with me.

They were afraid that my liver would start to bleed and if that had happened on the helicopter, it wouldíve been all over.

I had a punctured lung as well and six broken ribs, but the main thing they were doing was trying to save my liver.

I was actually coming around a bit but then the part of my liver that they were trying to repair, died. I went downhill after that and the whole procedure started over again.

They took me in and this time they had to take a third of my liver away. It was bad enough going through it once, but to go through it twice within two weeks has really taken a serious toll on me. Itís going to take months to get over it properly.

I was quite fit but any energy and strength that I had just drained out of me.

After what happened Malachi [Mitchell-Thomas] at the very same spot, itís a very fine line.
