The star of the Mid Antrim 150, exciting newcomer Malachi Mitchell Thomas on board the Cookstown/Burrows Engineering Racing machinery will take to the Orritor circuit for the first time. Malachi will line up alongside Mar-Trains Dan Kneen, NW Racings Derek McGee, B.E.Racings Derek Sheils, MJRs Michael Sweeney, Wilson Craigs runner, popular Czech rider, Michael Dukopil, PRB Racings Rob Barber, the underrated Seamus Elliot.

Cameron Donald, William & Michael Dunlop have shown interest in competing, but at the minute are provisional entries, however, the Cookstown and District MCC are optimistic, that come the end of the month Cameron, William and Michael will adorn the grid.

Breaking from its traditional season opener, the KDM Hire Cookstown 100 will continue with its popular 18 race format.

The local based hire store KDM Hire are back on board again for their Fourth term as Title sponsor for the Cookstown 100, which is Irelands oldest and longest running road race (The Cookstown is the longest running, by four months!, the Cookstown and UGP, Both started in 1922!)

There will be a special guest in attendance on race day; more details will appear in the media before the event.
