A very warm welcome to everyone here tonight, to help us celebrate 11 years of the 2 stroke racing supporters club history, from our small beginnings we have raised some €170,000 which has been paid out to clubs and our championships, this is your money, raised through our membership, and booklet, and various functions, thanks to everyone for your support through good times and bad.
A special thanks goes out to Ollie Place, and Hedzup Youth Project, who helped sponsor our awards tonight, as well as our host Ollie Grimes who has been good to us over the past few years.
The first of our awards tonight is for his service to sport award goes to a very popular man, who has been an ambassador to the sport, who has done so much for the racing scene, im sure you will find him a worthy winner, please welcome Barnsley’s Mick Chatterton, which will be presented by Four times 350 classic champion, Keith Costello
This year we were honoured to receive a number of special awards kindly donated to our club, our first special award has been kindly donated by the Mason family, in memory of there father Derek aka Big D, everyone will remember Derek, as the voice of road racing, a great commentator who passed away earlier this year, this comes wit a monetry prize as well, will you please welcome the first winner of the Big D award, Warren Reeve.
Presented on behalf of the Mason family by Lynne and Stevie WaterworthOur next special awards has been sponsored by a member of the Hedzup Youth Project, based in Scotland they help less fortunate kids, to aim for a goal in life, they help work on the bikes, in various ways, and some were fortunate to be able to visit the Manx Grand Prix this year.
These awards will be in remembrance of a team member Connor Turner, who was awarded the Young Marshall Of The Manx Award 2013, who sadly took his life only 2 weeks later on returning home.
The first award is for the Young Rider Of The Year who received 99% of the votes cast, he will also receive the Gary Dynes Memorial Trophy, such was the respect he gained in his short time, before his untimely accident at Walderstown, which claimed his life, to receive this award, his partner Angela Cowden, and brother Harry will accept on his behalf, the winner the late Bruce Moulds

Our second new award also sponsored by the Hedzup Youth Project, is for the Riders Rider of the Year, a big welcome to the winner Sam Dunlop

Our Special club awards The crystal glass trophies’ donated by Noddy and Joe, the first recipient is, to a new member of the stroker family, Micko Sweeney, presented by Noddy.
The second crystal award goes to a past 250 rider who has supported us for many years, and was unbeatable on his 350 classic machine this year, please welcome multiple Ulster and Irish road race champion , Barry Davidson presented by Joe.
The Aubrey McCauley Memorial Cup, has been won this year by ,none other the likeable Mick Chatterton, presented by Vivien Dynes.
Our next award the James Crompton memorial cup, for the best overseas rider in 2013, unfortunately he cant be here tonight to receive his award, the winner was, Kevin Strowger. A big thanks to Pete Wilbernham for this award, Pete is with us tonight, lets give Pete a big warm Skerries welcome.
