The 2015 Vauxhall International North West 200 will be launched with a Special Meet the Riders day at the Titanic Building, Belfast on March 24.

After the success of last year's inaugural event there will be an even bigger and better day out for road racing fans with their sporting heroes in Belfast's landmark building. The BBC's Stephen Watson and Clare McCollum will compere a day of interviews and chat with the top stars of the seaside race before everyone has their own chance to meet and talk to their favourite stars. A fantastic line-up of the sport’s top riders will be there to chat, sign autographs and pose for pictures. So be sure to bring your camera!

Planning is currently underway for the special day and there will be a few surprises on the big day. Everyone can keep up to date at the race website http://www.northwest200.org/ or on the NW200 Facebook page.

Details of how to get a ticket for the event will be released later in the month It is a day that anyone who was there last year will tell you, you definitely don't want to miss!

Plans are also well advanced to have a series of evenings with top riders during Race Week in the paddock marquee. So far both Eugene Laverty and John McGuinness have agreed to take part, giving race fans the lowdown on their racing careers. Laverty, now racing in MotoGP, will take a break from his busy schedule to give a behind the scenes view of what's it like to be mixing it up with Marquez, Rossi and Lorenzo in the blue riband series.

Honda legend John McGuinness, who is celebrating his 25th year in racing this season, will give his unique and hilarious take on his rivals and his exploits from a glorious road racing career. Once again details will released in the next few weeks as to how to obtain tickets for these special events on the race website, Facebook page, Twitter and in local press.

2015 will see Mick Grant and his record breaking 1975 750cc Kawasaki back at the 2015 North West 200 race week.It is 40 years since Grant set a new lap record of 122.62mph for the sea side circuit, establishing the famous Triangle course as the fastest in the UK. Such was Grant's pace that he added 7mph to the standing record!

It is 30 years since the Yorkshire man last raced at Portrush but he still has the bike from his 1975 exploits and he can still fit into the leathers that he wore that day! The road racing legend and his speedy machine will take part in a celebration parade lap during race day and will have a special place in the paddock to meet the fans and reminisce about that incredible day of 40 years ago.
