With just over 12 weeks until the 2015 KDM Cookstown 100 road races, The Organizing club , the Cookstown and Ditrict MCC have already received quite a large no of entries, amongst them, is the recently formed ROAD  Race Team, BikeBitsNI.

BikeBitsNI Racing, the Bangor based motorcycle concern are making their first venture into road racing. The team, managed by former competitor, Jonny Annett have just signed Dublin rider, Derek Sheils, who last year was a double winner at the KDM Cookstown 100 road races. Sheils , who was crowned Irish Superbike  road race Champion in 2013 will ride the BikeBitsNI  Kawasakis in both open and 600 supersport classes. Commenting on his new deal for 2015, Derek stated that he cannot wait for the road race season to start, Last year at the KDM Cookstown, I won the opening 600 and Superbike races, I know the competition will be fierce , But Im up for the challenge.
