The organisers of the annual Blackford’s Pre-TT Classic Road Races, are planning to hold the 2015 Pre-TT Classic Road Races, which traditionally open the TT Festival on Friday, Saturday and Sunday 29th, 30th & 31st May.
This is a change from the usual Friday, Saturday and Monday, as Monday 1st June 2015 is not a Bank Holiday this year.
Southern 100 Racing have applied for the appropriate road closing order for the Sunday
Afternoon to the Department of Infrastructure, for a Road Races Act (Temporary Modification) Bill to be approved to allow the Blackford’s Pre-TT Classic Road Races to be held on Sunday 31st May 2015.
The Bill has now passed both the House of Keys and the Legislative Council of the Isle of Man Government and now been sent for Royal Assent.
The proposed schedule for the 2015 Blackford Financial Services Pre - TT Classic Road Races on the Billown Course is as follows:
Roads Close Friday 29th May 6.05pm to 9.25pm
Saturday 30th May 12.15pm to 4.15pm
Sunday 31st May 1.00pm to 8.00pm
The program is conditional upon the Road Races (Temporary Modification) Bill 2015 receiving Royal Assent.
