Dunlop, who was riding a BMW S1000RR in Rico Penzkofer’s Penz13.com team alongside Canadian Dan Kruger, scaled the top step in the final premier class race - the second leg of the Joey Dunlop Trophy - battling all the way with Didier Grams.

Dunlop, who won the Superbike and Senior races for BMW at the Isle of Man TT in June, finished one second behind Grams in the opening race but came out on top in the final race to finish the weekend’s action on a high.
