ATTENTION ALL MOTORCYCLE FANS / RACERS / SUPPORTERS. We need your HELP. At the recent Killalane road races our friend and fellow road racer William Cowden suffered serious injuries. As he is a long way from home in Beaumont hospital in Dublin. The financial burden on the family from travelling to and from the hospital with fuel, tolls, car parking etc. is proving very difficult so here's where you can help.
The Cookstown motorcycle club in conjunction with the Loughshinny motorcycle club with motorcycling Ireland are running a poker run from Cookstown paddock [sign-on from 8.30 - 10am] to the spirit of Dunboyne festival in Co.Meath next Sunday the 28th of September. The run will leave Cookstown paddock to the 1st checkpoint at the Carrickdale Hotel following the old road from Dundalk to Castlebellingham Dunleer Drogheda to checkpoint 2 at the City North Hotel [Checkpoint open 12am and leaving at 1pm] where members of the Loughshinny club will sign on anyone who wants to join in there. Then its on to the M1 motorway then the M50 via Blanchardstown to Dunboyne where the run will finish with refreshments followed by 2 laps of the Dunboyne circuit

This is a Fun Run, everyone welcome on bikes or cars
Anyone who can't make this Run can donate at the Cookstown Paddock before the Run commences
Anyone heading to the Festival from Dublin are more than welcome to join in at the City North Hotel (Exit 7 on the M1) where you can pick cards from previous checkpoints along the route
