Once again the Auto 66 Racing is proud to have organised yet another splendid meeting of motorcycle road racing at Oliver’s Mount, Scarborough.

With the third largest crowd ever recorded on the Mount, the club have pulled together facts from their questionnaire which points to a staggering third of a million pounds being spent in the town on the Saturday and Sunday and probably another third on the days building up to the weekend. This figure takes into account, hotels, restaurants, fuel stations etc.

The club was let down by a number of star competitors who had contractual difficulties with sponsors and could not get the machines they wanted for this meeting. However, the club has drawn up a new agreement that will be signed by competitors at the beginning of the year hopefully to alleviate this problem for the future.
