Ireland's biggest short circuit motorcycle racing championship, the Adelaide Masters Series is back on the Mondello Park National Track this weekend (Saturday & Sunday August 30th & 31st) for the penultimate event of the season, backed by Motorcycle insurance Specialists Adelaide Insurance Services.

The two day event, which will feature the best of Ireland's Superbike and Supersport racers and all of the series regular supporting class will have a busier than ever programme, with the addition for this event of two new classes.

The Superbike and Supersport titles continue to be the most hotly contested in Irish Motorcycle Racing with quality grids containing up to a dozen riders capable of winning. So far in Superbike the championship has seen more winners than in any other year with series leader Cody Nally being joined by Derek Sheils, David Haire, Brian McCormack and Marshall Neill in topping the rostrum.

Once again proving its competitiveness, the Supersport class has seen an even greater number of riders taste victory with Derek Sheils, Robert English, David Haire, Carl Phillips, Robert Kennedy and Nikki Coates adding their names to the winners list.

In the supporting classes the biggest fields and closest racing are in the Pre-Injection races and on the combined Supertwins and Production Twins grid. These along with the Lightweight Supersport and Sidecar competitors complete the regular Adelaide Masters Series line-up. Adding to the entertainment this weekend will be the Production 125cc/250cc class, which will race on Saturday only, and the Classic Superbike field which will race on both days.

While there will be two days of race action at the track, spectators who cannot make it to Mondello Park on Sunday can watch all of the action live and completely free of charge on Mondello.TV. All of the days Superbike and Supersport races will be broadcast live along with the majority of the support races.

Admission to the Adelaide Masters at Mondello Park is just €12.50 for adults with under sixteen's admitted free of charge.
