Michael's Sweeney and Dunlop both achieved double victories at the Country Crest Killalane Road Races, the penultimate European round of the Duke Road Race Rankings 2014.

Riding the BE Cookstown 250cc Honda, Michael Sweeney took a 2.4 secondswin over Seamus Elliott with Paul Robinson filling third spot in the Junior Championship race and went on the clinch his second win of the day by the
meerest of margins 0.253 of a second over Derek McGee in the SuperTwinsrace, with Jamie Hamilton take a distant third some 14-seconds down. Michael Sweeney - 250 BE Cookstown Honda

Later in the race programme, current Duke Rankings Champion, Michael Dunlop took back-to-back victories, firstly in the 350cc Classic race on a 350cc Honda twin with a convincing 34 second gap between himself and second place man Jonathon Doran, with only 0.256 of a second between him and third Herbie Ronan, both also on the Honda 350 twins.

On the MD Racing 1000 BMW Dunlop claimed the winners laurel wreath in the feature Country Crest Grand Final by 2.7 seconds from Jamie Hamilton making a welcome return to racing on the Wilson Craig Honda Superbike, as
Michael Sweeney took the final podium position.

Michael Sweeney's double win and third place moves him up to eighth place in the rankings up two from 10th, the only upward movement in the top ten, as both William Dunlop and Bruce Anstey drop a position each to ninth and
tenth.

Michael Dunlop's double keeps him in third position and brings him within 123 points of second place man James Cowton.

Derek's McGee and Sheils both advance, McGee up three to 12th and Sheils up two to 16th, whilst Robert McCrum climbs four to 20th.
