Past Gold Cup winner Guy Martin has entered for this year’s event but a cloud now hangs over his availability to attend, talks are still going on, the organisers are hoping to find a way round Guys contractual agreements.
 

Guy is down to race at the 24 hour endurance race at Le Mans the following weekend. The meeting has attracted one of the best supported solo and sidecar entries for years, there will be without a doubt some excellent racing.


Dean Harrison injured at the Ulster Grand Prix will be seeing his surgeons this Friday with the hope that all his injuries are on the mend in readiness for him to race at the Gold Cup.
