New Sponsor For Steve Henshaw Gold Cup Race

Auto 66 Racing are pleased to announce that the 64th running of the Gold Cup at Olivers Mount Scarborough on Saturday and Sunday 13th and 14th September has a new title sponsor.

Thompsons Fish Restaurant on the A64 road near York is this year’s sponsor of the Steve Henshaw Gold Cup Race at Olivers Mount.

The winner of the Gold Cup receives £1000, the runner up £800 and 3rd place £600 down to £200 for the 6th place finisher.

The Gold Cup will be run on Sunday afternoon at 3.50pm, this race will see the comeback of Ryan Farquhar in the big class, a past winner of the Gold Cup, although the man with his eye on the trophy is John McGuinness.

All the other classes are run over two legs, one on Saturday and one on Sunday with the exception of the sidecars which will have two legs each day.
