Recently crowned Irish Supertwins Road Race Champion Connor Behan will make his Isle of Man Classic TT Races presented by Bennetts debut later this month.  Behan will contest both the 4-lap Bennetts 500cc and Okells 350cc Classic TT Races.

The 21-year old Northwich based rider will race for Ted Woof Racing and will campaign a 500cc Manx Norton and 350cc Norton in the respective races, deputising for the injured Jamie Coward. The Yorkshire rider, who finished in an excellent third in last year’s 500cc Classic TT Race, sustained leg injuries in a spill at the Tandragee 100 in May and while he continues to make good progress, this year’s Classic TT Races have come too soon for him to make his return.

Behan clinched the Supertwins title at the recent Armoy Road Races, aided by three wins during the course of the season, and will be a more than able deputy for Coward having excelled on the Mountain Course since making his debut at the Manx Grand Prix twelve months ago.

Since his Mountain Course debut, the Northwich rider has established himself as one of the brightest young talents in road racing, clearly benefitting from the advice of his KMR Kawasaki team boss Ryan Farquhar. Having taken second place, along with the fastest lap, in last year’s Newcomers Manx Grand Prix Race, Behan progressed to the TT this year finishing an excellent ninth place in the Bike Nation Lightweight Race, just two places behind Farquhar.

He also lapped in excess of 120mph in the second Supersport 600cc Race and ended the fortnight with a silver and two bronze replicas from his three races.

Tickets are now on sale and selling fast for the 2014 Classic TT Races presented by Bennetts.  VIP experiences, Grandstand tickets, Classic TT Heroes Dinner and Classic TT Party tickets can be purchased from www.iomtt.com or by phoning 00 44 (0)1624 640000.
