Dean Harrison proved to be the dominant force at the Cock o'the North Continental Road Races, round 15 of the Duke Road Race Rankings held at Oliver's Mount, Scarborough.

The on-form Yorkshireman claimed a total of seven race victories over the two-day meeting including retaining the Cock o'the North Trophy he won for the first time twelve months ago.

The young star of the 2014 racing season only missed out on a clean sweep of the races he started when he slipped off his SuperTwin machine when challenging leader Ivan Lintin in the Sunday leg of the race class.

Saturdays SuperTwin race provided the closest finish of the day and the meeting with only 0.125 of a second separating Harrison and Lintin as the race winner scrapped past his rival in the closing yards to the chequered flag.

Dean Harrison was leading the Duke Road Race Rankings after the Southern

100 International Road Races by 182 points from the current title holder Michael Dunlop. He now holds a 539 points lead over fellow Yorkshireman James Cowton with Michael Dunlop pushed down to third spot.
