The H2 Engineering Bush Road Races will take place on Friday 27th and Saturday 28th June. 2014 sees the 8th time the Bush Road Races have taken place around the Bush village circuit. The format for racing is similar to previous years and we will be running a ten race programme along with a parade lap due to popular demand.

The Dungannon & District motorcycle Club are pleased to once again welcome back H2 Engineering as main sponsor. The club are indebted to H2 Engineering for all their assistance in helping to run the race.

We would also like to take this opportunity to thank the Dungannon and South Tyrone Borough Council, for their support, along with our long term sponsors, The Cohannon Inn and Autolodge, Gerald McHugh and Son Crane Hire, Emerald Road Racing Magazine and D&GW Racing.

Roads will close on Friday at 4pm and reopen at 9.30pm. Roads will close on Saturday at 10am and reopen at 7.30pm

Press night will take place on T.B.A. June 2014 in the Cohannon Inn & Autolodge starting at 8pm. A Liaison night for officials will also take place in the Cohannon Inn & Autolodge at 8pm T.B.A.

As everyone is aware the costs of promoting an event like the Bush Road Races, are ever increasing, so we depend more and more on the generosity of our valued sponsors to enable us to keep the races going. The club cannot thank our sponsors enough and would appeal to all our press colleagues, to give our sponsors as much publicity as possible as they are the ones who help to keep our sport going. This year’s event has greatly benefited by the support of Dungannon & South Tyrone Borough Council so their involvement is appreciated by the club as we strive to make the Bush Road Races the top National Road Race on the racing calendar.

In addition to our main sponsors, we have many other individuals and businesses that help out by sponsoring various special awards etc. and placing ads in the programme. It would take a very long list to include everyone, but sincere thanks for all the assistance; it is all very much appreciated.

The prospects for a very successful Bush Road Races are good and finally may I wish all the competitors, officials, sponsors and spectators a safe and enjoyable race meeting and remember to buy a programme.
