Originally omitted from the Cookstown 100 race plan for 2014,due to poor support in 2013, the club have given the 250 riders a reprieve for this year. Some riders were unhappy with the decision taken by the club, however, common sense has prevailed from both the riders and organizers, and the entry list is now a lot healthier than it was for the 2013 race!

There is still space left for any competitor wishing to compete in the 250 class, get in touch with race secretary, Norman Crooks ; 02886764168 or 07900357982.

Riders such as, former manx Grand Prix winners, Michael “Micko” Sweeney ( BE Racing Honda), Sam Dunlop (125 Irish road race champion), Brian Mateer, David Guiney, The D&G Wray race team, Seamus Elliot and exciting newcomer, Garth Keyes, Add in, Paul Robinson,2014 Support champion, MarkHanna, and Manx Grand Prix Newcomers winner, Ben Rea.

We can look forward to hearing the sounds of the quarter litre racing machines once again around the Orittor circuit in April. This years event takes place on Friday /saturday 25th/26th April.
