Title: Entries are coming in fast and furious for the 2015 Tandragee 100

The North Armagh Motorcycle & Car Club Ltd are pleased to reveal that entries are coming in fast and furious for the 2015 Around-A-Pound Tandragee 100 in County Armagh this coming May.

We are also delighted to announce that we have a new sponsor on board this year – Robert Eakins proprietor of Mahon Garden Centre, one of Northern Ireland’s leading garden centres. Situated in County Armagh it offers a click and collect service to its customers via its website www.mahongardencentre.com

Mahon Garden Centre was established in 1988 by the Eakins family and is now a leading plant orientated, independent Garden Centre, growing the majority of the stock on their own nursery, ensuring the highest quality possible. The business now covers over four acres. Their team of enthusiastic and knowledgeable staff take great pride in the service and advice they give, whether it’s helping you choose the right plants for your garden, or getting you started with a grow-your-own vegetable patch.

Robert Eakins is no stranger to the motorcycle racing scene being a long-time sponsor and friend to the talented and very successful Marshal Neill, Woolsey Coulter and in more recent times up and coming short circuit star Mark Murphy.

Just some of the stars you can expect to see at the Tandragee 100 National Road Races on Friday 1st and Saturday 2nd May 2015 include Ryan Farquhar, Keith Amor, Jamie Hamilton and Derek McGee.

Entries so far also include regulars such as Davy Morgan, Seamus Elliott, Andy Farrell, Denis Booth, Nigel Moore, Freddie Stewart, Dave Brough, Barry Davidson, Chris McGahon from the Isle of Man, Philip Shaw, Club Members Stephen Davison, Anthony McColgan, Gary Hutton and Joe Lockhart, etc.

Some of the up and coming stars include Gareth Keys, Connor Behan and Alan Bonner, etc who could perhaps upset some of the regulars. There will also be a few female competitors on the grid – Yvonne Montgomery and Sarah Boyes. Much loved Italian rider, Dario Cecconi will also be returning ‘home’ to Tandragee in the shallow hills of County Armagh. In addition, a few from further afield such as Eric Goedhart from Dubai and Fabrice Faivre from France will be newcomers to the event.

The Tandragee 100 Course was, in 2013, voted 4th Best Road Racing Course in the World (only the TT, Macau & UGP came higher) and so with over 216 rider entries so far this year from Northern Ireland, South of Ireland, England, Scotland, Wales, Isle of Man, Europe and further afield and with roughly 31 circuit newcomers so far, this is proof that road racing is still very much alive and kicking in Tandragee!

Entries close on Friday 3rd April 2015 so there is still time to get on board – there is room particularly in the 125cc, 250cc and Classic classes - further details online via www.tandragee100.co.uk or via our Facebook page.

If you would like to Sponsor a Race, The People’s Race at the Tandragee 100 is still available – for a minimum sponsorship of £20 you can have your name in the programme as one of the sponsors for this race! – contact Anne Forsythe on 07977 425355 or email: anne.forsythe@orange.net – closing date is Friday 27th March 2015.
