Steve Hislop Memorial Run 6th september 2009
Start point – East-Dundee 8:00am


It is advised that ALL riders make sure they have a FULL tank of petrol & the organisers of the Steve Hislop Run would appreciate it very much if this could be adhered to. Thank You.

From west Arrival at Erskine Bridge at 7.45am leaving at 8am. Arrive at Bothwell services at 8.30am leaving at 8.45am. Arriving at Knockhill at 9.45am to join other riders from Dundee.

Route – Meet in Dundee 8am, then onwards to Alan Duffus shop for 8.45am. Leave at approx 9 am arriving at Knockhill for 9.45, leaving at 11am & passing through 4th Road Bridge at 11.15am. Leaving the city bypass at the Galashiels exit past Dobbies garden centre onto the A7 to Selkirk. There will be a petrol stop in Selkirk. 2 miles from selkirk on A7 there is a layby on left hand side that all riders will bunch up heading into hawick.

On arrival into Hawick all riders will go down commercial road heading towards the High Street. The police have given permission for the procession to ride along Hawick High Street in the opposite dirction; where riders will continue along to the "Morrison's Roundabout". At the Roundabout take 2nd exit onto Weensland Road towards Denholm. Arrival time in Denholm is estimated to be around 1.30pm.

Knockhill – Itinerary. Arrive at holding area approx 9.45am. There will be time to walk around, have a burger etc. The commentator will give approx 20 mins warning to get ready for the lap(s). (Whilst doing the parade lap there will be strictly no overtaking of the marshalls). After the parade lap(s) The procession will leave the circuit immediately and head for the Forth Road Bridge.

There is also going to be live music next to the green from a good local band.

There is also going to be an auction for some memorabilia with the proceeds going to the MacMillan center.
